Celebrating with Your Advent Wreath
|
The first purple candle symbolizes the long years of waiting for a Savior, embodying the anticipation and hope that the Messiah is on the way.
The second purple candle signifies Israel’s preparation for the Christ child, as well as our own readiness for the second coming of Jesus. The third candle, known as the rose candle, represents joy—the delight in knowing the Messiah is coming and that you are drawing nearer. The fourth purple candle reflects the peace that God offers to all who patiently await Him. |
